GoGreen ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GoGreen mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and phone number.
- Location Information: We collect your delivery address and, with your permission, your device's GPS location to determine delivery availability, calculate delivery charges, and show real-time order tracking.
- Order and Payment Information: We collect your order history, cart contents, and payment method. Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways; we do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Communications: If you use in-app chat with a delivery person or our support team, we store those messages to facilitate order-related communication.
- Device Information: We collect a device push-notification token to send you order updates, which you can disable in your device settings.
- Photos: If you choose to add a note or image to an order, that image is stored to fulfill your order.
- Third-Party Sign-In: If you sign in using Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive basic profile information (name, email) from that provider as permitted by your privacy settings with them.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process and deliver your orders
- To communicate order status and respond to support requests
- To improve our app and services
- To send promotional offers (you can opt out of marketing notifications)
- To prevent fraud and ensure platform security
3. How We Share Your Information
- With delivery personnel, to fulfill your order
- With payment processors, to complete transactions
- With Google Firebase, for push notifications
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations.
5. Your Rights
You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through the app (see our Delete Account page), or by contacting us at gogreenorgsupermarket@gmail.com. You may withdraw location and notification permissions at any time through your device settings.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
GoGreen is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
9. Information for Delivery Partners
If you use the GG Delivery app as a registered delivery partner, this section applies to you in addition to the information above:
- Account Credentials: Your delivery partner account is created by GoGreen administrators, who collect your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo during onboarding.
- Identity Verification: We collect identity verification documents (such as a government-issued ID or driving license) submitted during onboarding to verify your eligibility to deliver.
- Continuous Location Tracking: While you are on duty with an active delivery assigned, the GG Delivery app collects your device's GPS location on an ongoing basis (not just at single points in time) to route deliveries, calculate distances, and share your live location with customers for order tracking.
- Delivery and Earnings History: We collect records of orders you have delivered and associated earnings for payment and record-keeping purposes.
This location and identity data is used solely to operate the delivery service and is not sold to third parties. You may request deletion of your account and associated data through the app (see our Delete Account page) or by contacting GoGreen administration.
